Gigabyte's B850M EAGLE WiFi7 brings the B850 chipset into a Micro ATX layout for AM5 builds running Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It is equipped with four-slot DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 storage and Wi-Fi 7 wireless networking.

Platform & chipset

The foundation is the AMD AM5 socket paired with the B850 chipset, supporting Ryzen processors across the 7000, 8000 and 9000 generations. A digital 8+2+2 phase VRM is designed to keep delivery steady, while X3D Turbo Mode targets unlocking current-generation gaming performance.

Memory & expansion

Four DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR5 with AMD EXPO profiles, and the manufacturer notes very high frequencies are reachable through overclocking. Storage runs through two M.2 slots, including a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface for a fast NVMe drive, while the PCIe and M.2 slots use the screwless EZ-Latch Plus quick-release plus EZ-Latch Click for the heatsinks.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Cooling features include VRM Thermal Armor Advanced and an M.2 Thermal Guard for efficient heat spreading, and the graphics slot is reinforced with an SMD PCIe 5.0 Armor design.
