The AMD Ryzen 7 7700 is an eight-core AM5 processor based on the Zen 4 architecture, offering an excellent balance of gaming, content creation and multitasking. It combines high clocks, strong energy efficiency and a 65W power draw, and comes in the box with a Wraith Prism cooler featuring RGB lighting.

Cores & performance

The processor packs eight cores and 16 threads at a 3.8GHz base and up to 5.3GHz boost. This configuration delivers excellent gaming performance alongside power for video editing, streaming, compilation and other multi-core tasks, making it a strong all-around choice.

Despite the high performance, the power draw is just 65W, so the CPU is energy efficient, relatively cool, and easier to cool quietly.

AM5 platform & memory

The processor uses the AM5 socket and supports DDR5-5200 memory and PCIe 5.0 for next-generation graphics cards and NVMe drives. It also supports AMD EXPO for convenient memory tuning, and the AM5 platform is ready for future upgrades.

Integrated graphics & included cooler
