The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 is a 12-core AM5 processor based on the Zen 4 architecture, delivering exceptionally high compute power for professional tasks, content creation and gaming. Despite its 12 cores, it keeps an efficient 65W power envelope, offering an impressive balance of performance, heat and power draw. This WOF version is supplied without a cooler.

12 cores for work and gaming

The processor packs 12 cores and 24 threads at a 3.7GHz base and up to 5.4GHz boost. The high core count makes it an excellent tool for video editing, 3D rendering, compilation and running many heavy applications at once, alongside strong gaming performance thanks to the high boost clocks.

A 65W TDP is impressive for a 12-core chip and enables a relatively cool, quiet system even under high loads.

AM5 platform & memory

The processor uses the AM5 socket and supports DDR5-5200 memory and PCIe 5.0 for next-generation graphics cards and NVMe drives, and includes AMD EXPO for memory tuning. The AM5 platform is built to last and allows future upgrades.

Integrated graphics & WOF version

The CPU includes AMD Radeon Graphics integrated for initial setup and display output without a discrete card. The WOF (Without Fan) version is supplied without a cooler, so a quality cooling solution must be added separately to make the most of the 12 cores.
