Future Compatibility
AMD is expected to release the AM5 socket, successor to its popular AM4 platform, by the end of 2022. As all mechanical dimensions remain the same, ARCTIC ensures compatibility with our coolers on the new AMD processors.
In addition, all coolers shipped by ARCTIC are already compatible with Intel Alder Lake LGA1700 processors.

Power consumption is reduced from 0.25 A to 0.07 A, resulting in a 72% saving in efficient power consumption. The ARCTIC Freezer 7 X sets new standards in cooling. Compared to its predecessor, there is an almost 10% increase in performance. Thermal resistance represents the absolute performance of a CPU cooler by placing an increase in temperature per performance unit. It also represents the cooling performance depending on the processor and is the more accurate alternative to TDP specifications. |
