The SK hynix HMT41GU7BFR8A-PB is an 8GB unbuffered DIMM with ECC error correction, built with SK hynix DDR3L devices. It runs at DDR3L-1600 (PC3L-12800E) with CL11 timings in a dual-rank 2Rx8 configuration. Our module also carries a Dell label with part number SNP96MCTC/8G.

ECC UDIMM memory suits small servers, workstations and professional PCs that support unbuffered ECC memory, for example Intel Xeon E3 systems. It is not for servers that require Registered memory (RDIMM) and not for laptops, so check the supported memory type before buying. The module is used and has been tested in our lab.

ECC detects and corrects memory errors and keeps systems stable in continuous operation. The low 1.35V operating voltage saves power and heat, and according to SK hynix DDR3L modules are backward compatible with 1.5V DDR3 systems.
