Extension cord USB 2.0 A-M to A-F Active 5M

USB 2.0 A-M to A-F Active 5M Extension Cable

This cable extends a USB 2.0 connection by 5 m, so a printer, webcam, external drive or any other USB device can sit far from the computer. It is active, with built-in circuitry that keeps data transfer reliable even over a long run.

The male USB A connector plugs into the computer and the female USB A connector takes the device, with no extra adapter needed.

Key features

• 5 m length - Lets you place a device away from the computer, for example a printer at the side of the room or a camera on a shelf.
• Active cable - Built-in circuitry keeps data transfer stable even when the cable is long, unlike a passive extension cable.
• USB A male to USB A female - A male connector for the computer and a female connector for the device. Suits keyboards, mice, printers, cameras and external drives.
• USB 2.0 standard - Made for USB 2.0 devices and supports speeds of up to 480Mbps according to the standard.
