The SilverStone TS434U is an external enclosure for four SATA drives, designed for simple, fast storage expansion. It combines Hot-Swap support with a quick USB Type-C connection, letting you add or replace drives without powering down the system.

Build & form factor

The enclosure hosts up to four 3.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs in SATA I / II / III formats at the same time. A magnetic front door attaches to the side of the unit for convenient bay access, and a discreet LED design provides status indication without distraction.

Cooling & expansion

Bottom intake vents spread heat efficiently and evenly across all four bays, while overheat protection keeps the drives within a safe operating temperature. A power-saving sleep mode activates the enclosure only when needed, reducing wear and energy use.

Assembly & cable management

Installation is straightforward: 3.5" drives mount tool-free, and full Hot-Swap support enables effortless upgrades and maintenance. The connection to the Computer runs through a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port in USB Type-C form, for data transfers up to 10 Gbps over a single cable.
