CMOS Battery VARTA LITHIUM CR2032 1PC

The VARTA LITHIUM Coin CR2032 is a 3V lithium manganese dioxide coin cell, 20 mm in diameter and 3.2 mm thick. It is the most common coin cell size: it powers the CMOS clock and BIOS memory on desktop and laptop motherboards, as well as car key fobs, remote controls, scales, smart home sensors and many other small devices.

Typical capacity is 230mAh and self-discharge is below 1% at room temperature, so the cell keeps its charge for more than 10 years in storage. Low internal resistance gives good performance in both continuous and pulse discharge, as in remotes and wireless sensors.

It comes as a single cell in a child-safe blister with VARTA's patented easy and secure opening cavities. Replacing the CMOS battery is the simple fix when a computer keeps losing its date, time or BIOS settings.
