Screen Adapter ATEN HDMI HDBaseT VE2812AUST VE2812AUST Color:white

The VE2812AUST is an advanced transmitter designed to carry VGA (with audio) and HDMI signals over distances of up to 100 meters via a single network cable. The unit features built-in PoH technology that lets it draw power directly through the HDBaseT cable, eliminating the need for an external power supply and simplifying in-wall installation. Its wall-plate design offers an elegant solution that blends seamlessly into meeting rooms and digital learning environments.

The VE2812AUST from ATEN ensures reliable, high-quality transmission of video and audio signals for a range of business and educational applications. The unit supports especially high-quality 4K transmission over long distances, preserving advanced video features such as Deep Color and 3D, alongside lossless audio formats. For projects that require even greater range, a Long Reach mode is available, reaching up to 150 meters at 1080p resolution over a single cable. In addition to its transmission capabilities, the VE2812AUST also functions as a flexible video switch, allowing two different sources to be connected and routed to the same output, with support for automatic switching to the newly connected source. Its compact design allows for a clean installation inside a wall or on a desk, eliminating cumbersome cabling and keeping the workspace looking professional and tidy. Note: this product is a transmitter and requires a compatible receiver (such as the VE2812PR) for full operation.

Extended signal range – transmits HDMI or VGA signals over a single Cat 5e/6/6a cable or an ATEN 2L-2910 cable. Excellent video quality – supports 4K over HDMI and resolutions up to 1920×1200 over VGA, at distances of up to 100 meters. Long Reach mode – supports 1080p signal transmission up to 150 meters. Standards compliance – supports HDMI standards (3D, Deep Color, 4K) and full HDCP 2.2 compatibility.

PoH technology – the Power over HDBaseT function lets the device draw power directly from the HDBaseT port of the connected unit. Auto switching – the Auto Switch feature detects a newly connected source and automatically switches transmission to it. Dual functionality – can work as a switch for connecting two sources, or as a converter matched to receivers with different interfaces such as DVI and DisplayPort. Electrostatic protection – built-in 8KV / 15KV ESD protection to preserve the durability of the device.
