Gold Touch 2 Ways Digital Audio Converter

The Gold Touch 2 Ways Digital Audio Converter is a compact converter between the two common S/PDIF digital audio connections: coaxial (RCA) and optical (Toslink). It takes the signal from one input, selected with a switch, and sends it to both the coaxial and the optical outputs at the same time.

This lets you connect a TV, console or player with an optical output to a receiver or amplifier that only has a coaxial input, and the other way round. Thanks to built-in amplification it also works as a signal repeater and doubles the transmission distance. It supports LPCM 2.0, DTS and Dolby AC3 and is powered with 5V from a USB port or an adapter.

Key features

• Two-way conversion - Coaxial to optical or optical to coaxial in the same unit, set with the switch.
• Two outputs at once - The selected signal goes to the coaxial and optical outputs simultaneously, so two devices can be fed.
• S/PDIF amplification - Built-in amplification extends the transmission distance over coaxial or optical cables, so the unit also acts as a repeater.
• Common formats - LPCM 2.0, DTS and Dolby AC3 at a baud rate of up to 16Mbps.
• Compact and easy to install - 66 x 55 x 20 mm and 40 g, powered with 5V from a USB port or a DC adapter.
