Avantree Audikast 3 Bluetooth Audio Transmitter

The Avantree Audikast 3 is a Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter that connects wireless headphones or speakers to a TV. It connects to the TV optical (TOSLINK), 3.5 mm AUX or RCA output and streams audio to Bluetooth headphones and speakers, including AirPods and Bose.

It is based on the Qualcomm QCC3056 chip and supports aptX Adaptive, aptX and SBC. With headphones that support aptX Adaptive or aptX Low Latency the sound stays in sync with the picture, and Dual Link lets two headphones connect at the same time. Volume buttons on the transmitter and up to 6dB of boost on optical connections solve the low volume problem common with optical output.

Key features

• Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX Adaptive - The Qualcomm QCC3056 chip delivers a stable connection and clear sound, with aptX Adaptive, aptX and SBC support.
• Picture and sound in sync - With headphones that support aptX Adaptive or aptX Low Latency, delay is reduced and speech stays in sync with the picture.
• Dual Link for two headphones - Pair two Bluetooth headphones at once and watch together without disturbing the rest of the house.
• Optical volume boost - Optical output usually has a fixed volume; the transmitter boosts it by up to 6dB, and its volume buttons adjust it directly.
• Wide TV compatibility - Connects through an optical (TOSLINK), 3.5 mm AUX or RCA output. TVs with HDMI-only audio output need an audio extractor.
• Up to 30 m range - Class 1 Bluetooth keeps a stable connection up to 30 m from the transmitter, depending on obstacles.
