External Drive Enclosure St-Lab M.2 NVMe to USB 3.2 Type-C Enclosure S-380

ST-Lab S-380 M.2 NVMe to USB 3.2 Type-C Enclosure

The ST-Lab S-380 turns an M.2 NVMe SSD into a portable external drive. It connects to a computer through a USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C port at up to 10Gbps and is based on a Realtek RTL9210 controller.

The aluminum housing doubles as a heat sink and draws heat away from the drive during long transfers. It measures just 103.5 x 28 x 12 mm, and the box includes both a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C cable, so it also works with computers without a USB-C port.

Key features

• USB 3.2 Gen 2 up to 10Gbps - A fast USB-C connection for large files, backups and game libraries. The enclosure also works on slower USB ports in older computers.
• M.2 NVMe support - Fits PCIe 3.0 NVMe drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths.
• Aluminum housing for cooling - The enclosure is made of aluminum and acts as a heat sink for the drive. A thermal pad is included in the box.
• No drivers needed - It works with any operating system without installing drivers: insert a drive, connect it and use it.
