Gold Touch Hard Drive 2.5″ Caddy for Notebook 9.5mm

The Gold Touch E-HD25-C95 is a caddy that fits into the laptop's optical drive bay in place of the DVD drive. You mount a 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD in it and get a second drive in the laptop without giving up the existing one.

The caddy supports SATA drives up to 9.5 mm thick. The metal frame helps dissipate heat, and screw holes let you move the rear bracket over from the original optical drive.

Gold Touch Hard Drive 2.5″ Caddy for Notebook 9.5mm

    Key features

    • A second drive in the laptop - Replace the optical drive with an extra hard drive or SSD and increase storage without removing the main drive.
    • For drives up to 9.5 mm - The caddy takes 2.5 inch SATA hard drives and SSDs up to 9.5 mm thick.
    • Metal frame - The metal body helps dissipate heat from the drive during operation.
    • Reuse parts of the original drive - Screw holes let you transfer the optical drive's rear bracket to the caddy, and you can also fit the original faceplate instead of the standard black one.
    • Before installing - The drive is not included. Check the thickness of the laptop's optical drive in advance to make sure the caddy fits the bay.
