| Revew | ATEN US3344i 4x4 USB 3.2 Gen1 Industrial Sharing SwitchThe ATEN US3344i is an industrial-grade USB sharing switch that lets four computers use four shared USB 3.2 Gen1 devices, such as a keyboard, mouse, barcode scanner, printer or camera. It suits production lines, control stations and surveillance systems, as well as meeting rooms where several participants connect their laptops and use the same devices (BYOD). Switching is done with the pushbutton on the unit, a remote port selector or RS-422/RS-485 serial commands, so it can be integrated into control systems such as the ATEN VK1100A and VK211. The switch has a metal chassis, can be wall mounted, and takes DC 9-24V power through a terminal block or an optional DC 12V adapter sold separately. 
Key features- 4 computers, 4 USB devices - Four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-B ports for computers and four Type-A ports for devices, at up to 5Gbps with backward compatibility for USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
- Manual, remote or serial control - Select the active computer with the pushbutton, the remote port selector on a 1.8 m cable, or RS-422/RS-485 commands through a 5-pin terminal block.
- Power On Detection - Focus switches automatically to the most recently connected or powered-on computer, and back to port 1 when the active computer is unplugged or powered off. Green LEDs show the selected port.
- Built for industrial use - Metal chassis with wall mounting, support for USB cables with M2 screw locking, per-port over-current protection and USB BC 1.2 for device charging.
- Two power options - DC 9-24V through a 2-pin terminal block, or an optional DC 12V adapter. The power adapter is not included.
