| Revew | ATEN CM1942 2-Port 4K DisplayPort Dual Display Mini-Matrix Boundless KVM SwitchThe ATEN CM1942 is a mini-matrix KVM switch that lets you control two DisplayPort computers from a single dual-view console: two HDMI monitors, one USB keyboard and mouse, and shared speakers and microphone. It supports 4K DCI resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz and includes a USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub with data rates up to 5Gbps. In Single PC mode the desktop of the computer in focus spans both monitors, while in Dual PC mode each computer is shown on its own monitor regardless of the KVM focus. With Boundless Switching you simply move the mouse cursor across the screen border to switch to the other computer. The switch suits graphic design, financial trading, video post-production and software development.
Key features- Single PC and Dual PC modes - Show the computer in focus on both monitors, or each computer on a separate monitor regardless of the KVM focus.
- Boundless Switching - Switch computers by moving the mouse cursor across the screen border, in addition to pushbuttons, hotkeys, the mouse wheel and the remote port selector.
- 4K video - Resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI and HDCP compliance, and Video DynaSync to prevent boot-up display problems and optimize resolutions when switching.
- USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub - Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports with up to 5Gbps for sharing drives, printers and peripherals, with USB switching independent of the KVM focus.
- Audio Mixer - Mixes audio from both computers into one output, so you hear alerts from either computer at any time.
