| Revew | ATEN CS782DP 2-Port USB DisplayPort 4K KVM SwitchThe ATEN CS782DP is a desktop KVM switch for two computers with DisplayPort outputs, operated from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse and DisplayPort monitor. It supports 4K UHD and 4K DCI resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz, as well as 2560 x 1440 at 144Hz. You switch between the computers with the remote port selector, hotkeys or the mouse. The switch also carries audio, is powered from the USB connection and comes with all the DisplayPort, USB and audio cables needed to connect two computers.
Key features- Video up to 4K at 60Hz - Supports 3840 x 2160 and 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz and 2560 x 1440 at 144Hz, DisplayPort 1.2 compliant and HDCP compliant. Suited to graphic design, animation and video editing.
- Three ways to switch - A remote port selector on the desk, keyboard hotkeys or a USB mouse click (in mouse emulation mode with a 3-key USB wheel mouse).
- MST support - Multi-Stream Transport lets you run several monitors from one DisplayPort connector, using monitors that support DisplayPort 1.2 daisy-chaining or a powered MST hub.
- Audio and independent switching - 3.5 mm audio jacks for speakers and microphone, plus HD Audio over DisplayPort. The 3.5 mm audio focus can be switched separately from the KVM focus, so you can listen to music from one computer while working on the other.
- Broad compatibility - Works with Windows, Mac, Linux and Sun, supports multimedia keyboards, wireless keyboards and mice, and Mac and Sun keyboard emulation. The USB 2.0 mouse port can also be used to share a USB hub.
- Compact and bus-powered - It measures 9.37 x 9.30 x 2.68 cm and weighs 0.12 kg, with no external power adapter. Power-on detection switches to the active computer when the other one is off, and the firmware is upgradable.
