VGA Extender ATEN VE150A Cat 5 150m VE150A Color:black

ATEN VE150A Cat 5 150m VGA Extender

The ATEN VE150A is a VGA video extender made up of a local unit (VE150AT) and a remote unit (VE150AR). The two units are connected with a standard Cat 5e cable, and the image from the computer reaches a display up to 150 m away. The local unit also has an output for a local monitor, so the same image can be seen next to the computer and on the remote display.

It suits factories, construction sites, signage and any place where the display has to be far away or exposed while the computer stays in a safe location. Image quality depends on distance: up to 1920x1200 at 30 m, 1600x1200 at 100 m and 1280x1024 at 150 m. A gain control on the remote unit compensates for signal loss over long cables.

Key features

• Up to 150 m over Cat 5e - The units are linked with a standard Cat 5e cable instead of a long and expensive VGA cable.
• Local and remote display - A VGA output on the local unit for a monitor next to the computer and a VGA output on the remote unit, with DDC support for the local monitor.
• Manual gain control - The COMP selector on the remote unit boosts the signal to compensate for distance and keep the image sharp.
• Wide display support - Supports VGA, XGA, SVGA, UXGA, WUXGA, multisync and widescreen monitors, with 300 MHz video bandwidth.
• Simple and robust installation - Plug and play with no software, hot plugging, built-in 8KV/15KV ESD protection, metal housings and rack mounting.
