HDMI over IP ATEN VE8952T 4K PoE VE8952T-AT-G Color:black

ATEN VE8952T 4K PoE HDMI over IP Transmitter

The ATEN VE8952T is an AV over IP transmitter that takes an HDMI signal from a computer, media player or other video source and sends it over a standard Gigabit Ethernet network. Together with ATEN VE8952R receivers it can build anything from a simple point-to-point link to a large system with hundreds of endpoints: extender, splitter, matrix, daisy chain and a video wall of up to 64 displays.

The transmitter delivers 4K@30Hz 4:4:4 (or 4K@60Hz 4:2:0) video with lightweight compression and low latency, and reaches up to 100 m in a direct Cat 5e/6 link. It supports PoE, so it can be powered over the network cable without a power outlet nearby. Management is done through the built-in web GUI (VE Manager) with no extra server or software, a mobile app, the pushbuttons on the unit or the ATEN Control System.

Key features

• 4K over a Gigabit network - Video up to 4096x2160 at 30Hz (4:4:4) or 60Hz (4:2:0) with lightweight compression, low latency and three quality levels: Smooth, Balance and High Quality.
• A system that scales - From point-to-point to hundreds of endpoints over LAN: extender, splitter, matrix, daisy chain (up to 30 units recommended) and a video wall of up to 8x8 displays with 90° and 270° rotation.
• PoE power - The transmitter is powered over the network cable from a PoE switch, so no power cabling is needed. A DC power adapter is sold separately, and PoE is not supported in a daisy chain.

• Simple management, no server - Drag-and-drop web GUI, scheduled display profiles, the VE8950/VE8900 Control App, and ATEN Control System control via Telnet or RS-232.
• Control and audio channels - A USB 2.0 port for keyboards, mice and touch screens, a bi-directional IR channel, bi-directional RS-232, and a mini jack input to embed separate audio into the HDMI stream.
