Screen Adapter Apple 30-pin Digital AV Adapter MD098ZM/A

Apple 30-pin Digital AV Adapter

The Apple Digital AV Adapter (MD098ZM/A) connects Apple devices with a 30-pin connector to a TV, projector or display with an HDMI input. It mirrors everything on the screen of an iPad or iPhone 4S, including apps, presentations and websites, at up to 1080p, and movies play at up to 720p.

With iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th generation) the adapter shows slideshows and movies on the big screen at up to 720p. Digital audio passes over HDMI to displays that support it, and a second 30-pin port on the adapter lets you charge and sync the device while it is connected to the display. The HDMI cable is sold separately.

• Movies and slideshows - Watch movies and photo slideshows on the big screen at up to 720p, also from iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th generation).
• Digital audio - The adapter routes digital audio over HDMI to displays that support it.
• Charge while presenting - A second 30-pin port on the adapter takes a charging cable, so the device charges and syncs while connected to the display.
