Screen Adapter CUDY Type-C to HDMI

The Cudy UH401 is a compact plug-and-play adapter that connects a laptop, tablet or smartphone with a USB-C port to a monitor, TV or projector with an HDMI input. The manufacturer aims it at business people, lecturers and students who need a quick connection to an external display.

The HDMI 2.0 output delivers 4K (4096x2160) at 60Hz, 2K (2560x1440) up to 120Hz and higher rates at 1080p, and the adapter supports extend and mirror modes. Android phones support mirror mode only.

It needs no drivers and works with Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, Android, iPadOS and iOS, as long as the device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode). The silver gray aluminum and ABS body weighs only 20.2 g and slips easily into a laptop bag.
