    St-Lab U-1391 4K USB-C/A to HDMI Adapter

The St-Lab U-1391 is an external graphics adapter that adds an HDMI output to your computer through a free USB port. Its plug is hybrid: a USB-A plug with an attached USB-C adapter, so it connects both to computers with USB-A and to new notebooks with USB-C.

The adapter is based on the SM768 chip and supports displays up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz, and 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 at 60Hz. It carries video and audio together, takes power from the USB connection with no external power adapter, and works with Windows and macOS.

    St-Lab U-1391 4K USB-C/A to HDMI Adapter

    Key features

    • Hybrid USB-A and USB-C plug - A USB-A plug with an attached USB-C adapter, for older and newer computers alike.
    • 4K resolution - Up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz, while 2560x1440, 1920x1080 and lower modes refresh at 60Hz.
    • Video and audio in one cable - Picture and sound travel together over HDMI to a monitor, TV or projector.
    • Several displays on one PC - Connect multiple monitors at up to 4K to Windows laptops and desktops.
    • No power adapter - The adapter is powered by the USB connection only. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0, but in most cases performance above 1080p over USB 2.0 will be unsatisfactory.
