Adapter Gold Touch Active Mini DP To DVI Support 4K@30Hz

The Gold Touch CH-MINI-DP-DVI-ACT is an active adapter that connects a computer with a Mini DisplayPort output, such as a MacBook, to a monitor or projector with a DVI input. It is also compatible with Thunderbolt ports and is built as a short 0.2 m cable with a Mini DP male plug and a DVI female connector.

Thanks to its built-in chip the adapter works in active mode, so it also suits graphics cards that do not support multi-mode DP++ signals, for example in ATI Eyefinity setups. This lets you build a workstation with 1 to 6 displays on a compatible card.

The adapter supports resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz and hot plugging, and needs no external power supply.

Key features

• Active adapter - A built-in chip converts the signal, so the adapter also works with graphics cards that lack DP++ support, such as ATI Eyefinity.

• Up to 4K at 30Hz - Supports resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz.
• Mini DP and Thunderbolt - Suits MacBooks and computers with a Mini DisplayPort output, and is also compatible with Thunderbolt ports.
• No external power - Needs no power supply and supports hot plug and unplug detection.
