ATEN UC232A1 USB to RS-232 Adapter (1 m)

The ATEN UC232A1 is a USB to RS-232 adapter that adds a serial (COM) port with a male DB-9 connector to a laptop or desktop computer. It has a 1 m cable and supports data rates of up to 921.6Kbps.

The adapter lets a computer communicate with a wide range of serial devices, such as the console port of network switches, PLC controllers, printers, barcode scanners, POS terminals and scientific or medical instruments. It is powered from the USB port and works with Windows, macOS and Linux.
