SLI Bridge Nvidia GeForce GTX SLI HB Bridge 2-Slot 900-12230-2500-000

NVIDIA GeForce GTX SLI HB Bridge 2-Slot

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX SLI HB Bridge 2-Slot (part number 900-12230-2500-000) is a high bandwidth SLI bridge for connecting two GeForce graphics cards in 2-way SLI. It attaches to both SLI connectors on each card at the same time (dual-link SLI), doubling the transfer bandwidth between the cards compared with Maxwell-generation SLI bridges.

According to NVIDIA, with the GeForce GTX 1080 the SLI interface runs at 650MHz through the SLI HB bridge, compared with 400MHz on legacy bridges, which matters most at 4K and 5K resolutions and in NVIDIA Surround setups. The 2-slot version fits two cards installed two slots apart (40 mm spacing) and is compatible with the GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080, GTX 1080 Ti and TITAN X.

Key features

• Dual-link SLI - The bridge connects both SLI connectors on each card, so the two SLI interfaces work in tandem to feed a high-resolution display or several displays in NVIDIA Surround.
• Double the bandwidth - With the GeForce GTX 1080 the SLI interface runs at 650MHz through the bridge instead of 400MHz, giving more than double the bandwidth between the cards compared with the previous generation.
• Built for high resolutions - NVIDIA recommends the SLI HB bridge for 4K, 5K and Surround, where high bandwidth is needed to move frames between the cards and reduce stutter.
• 2-slot spacing - The 2-slot version is designed for two cards installed two slots apart (40 mm) and is compatible with the GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080, GTX 1080 Ti and TITAN X.
