Network Cable E.C.T CAT5e 30m

The E.C.T CAT5e 30m is a ready-made grey network patch cord, 30 m long, with an RJ45 plug on each end. It is supplied rolled in a plastic bag labelled "CAT5E PATCH CORD".

The length lets you connect a desktop PC, network printer, IP camera or access point in another room or on another floor directly to the router or switch, without crimping plugs or using tools.

Category 5e is defined by the cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801) for frequencies up to 100 MHz and supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T, that is up to 1 Gbps, over a channel of up to 100 m.

Key features

• 30 m for long runs - A 30 m length is enough to bring a wired connection between rooms or floors, where Wi-Fi is weak or unstable.
• Gigabit Ethernet - By the CAT5e standard the cable suits 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T networks, that is up to 1 Gbps.
• Ready RJ45 plugs - An RJ45 plug is fitted on each end, so the cable plugs straight into a network card, router, switch or wall socket.
• Four twisted pairs - A CAT5e cable has four twisted pairs of conductors, and Gigabit Ethernet uses all four to carry data.
