Excel OM3 LC-LC Duplex 5m Fibre Patch Lead

The Excel 200-048 from the Enbeam range is a duplex OM3 multimode 50/125 fibre patch lead with LC connectors at both ends and a length of 5 m. It is designed for connecting switches, servers and fibre panels in server rooms and network cabinets.

The lead uses bend-insensitive 900 micron fibre with zirconia ceramic ferrules and low insertion loss. Transmit and receive legs are marked with identification rings, polarity can be changed on the duplex connectors, and each lead is supplied with a test certificate.

• OM3 multimode fibre - 50/125 micron OM3 fibre with an effective modal bandwidth of at least 2000 MHz.km at 850 nm.
• Low-loss LC connectors - 1.25 mm zirconia ceramic ferrules with PC polish and a maximum insertion loss of 0.3 dB per connector.
• Changeable polarity - The duplex connectors allow polarity to be swapped easily during installation.
• Identification and traceability - Ring markers identify the transmit and receive legs at each end, and a label with a unique batch number sits at the centre of the lead.
• Robust, safe construction - Bend-insensitive fibre, aramid yarn strength members and a flame-retardant, low-smoke LSOH sheath.
