ATEN PE4102G 2-Outlet Eco PDU Power Controller

The ATEN PE4102G is a smart Eco PDU power controller with two IEC C13 outlets that lets you switch on, switch off and reboot IT equipment remotely over TCP/IP. It is tailored for digital signage, video walls, routers, servers and cameras in retail, hospitality and edge computing, and works with eco DC software for centralized management of multiple units.

Auto Ping and Auto Reboot detect unresponsive devices and restart them automatically, while power-on sequencing with per-outlet delays prevents inrush current. Power for the controller is separated from the outlets, so the user interface stays reachable even when an overload trips the breaker. The slim form factor supports desk, wall and rack mounting.

Key features

• Remote control of every outlet - On, Off and Power Cycle for each outlet, locally or remotely, via a browser interface and the built-in 10/100 Ethernet port. Outlets can also be switched by email through IMAP and POP3.
• Auto Ping and Auto Reboot - The unit monitors connected devices and reboots them when a connection is lost, and receives heartbeat signals via PMonitor to restart equipment that stops responding.
• Power sequencing and scheduling - Set the power-on order and delay time for each outlet so equipment starts in the proper order without inrush, and schedule actions in advance.
• Interface stays available - The controller is powered separately from the outlets, so management access remains when the UL1077 breaker trips.
• Security and outlet lock - Two-level passwords, TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 encryption and RADIUS authentication. Front panel outlet buttons can be disabled to prevent accidental presses.
• eco DC and network protocols - Works with web-based eco DC software and supports SNMP v1/v2/v3, Modbus over TCP/IP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP and Telnet.
