Cable Vention DP 32Gbps 2m HCDBH

Vention DisplayPort 1.4 8K 32Gbps Cable, 2 m

The two-metre version of Vention's DisplayPort 1.4 cable connects a display source to a monitor while giving more room to arrange the setup. It is made to deliver high-resolution images at a fast refresh rate, and the mid length adds flexibility when the PC sits under the desk or off to the side of the screen.

Purpose

This cable carries a digital video signal between the graphics card and the monitor using the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. It is aimed at people running high-refresh monitors and provides a total bandwidth of 32.4Gbps, which is enough even for fast-paced games.

Capabilities

Supported resolutions and refresh rates include 8K@60Hz, 4K@144Hz, 2K@165Hz, and 1080P@240Hz. A 32-bit audio channel passes detailed sound alongside the video, and Dynamic HDR support allows frame-by-frame adjustment of contrast and colour range for a richer picture.

Connectivity & compatibility

The cable works with vertical sync through NVIDIA's G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync, reducing image artifacts for smoother gameplay. A DisplayPort connector sits on each end, so it plugs straight between a graphics card and a monitor that have the matching outputs.
