Adapter HDMI TO VGA

HDMI TO VGA Adapter with Audio

The HDMI TO VGA adapter with audio is a small converter that connects the HDMI output of a computer or another device to an older monitor or projector with a VGA input. It converts the digital HDMI signal into an analog VGA signal and stereo audio, so equipment with a VGA connection stays in use.

Setup is simple and needs no configuration, and the adapter needs no external power. The conversion works in one direction only, from HDMI to VGA, so it cannot be used to connect a computer with a VGA output to a display with an HDMI input.

Key features

• HDMI to VGA conversion - The converter turns the digital HDMI signal into an analog VGA signal, letting you connect a laptop or a modern player to an older monitor or projector.
• Separate audio output - A VGA cable carries video only, so the adapter has a stereo audio output for speakers or for the audio input of the display.
• No external power, no setup - The adapter does not need an external power source. Plug it in and it works, with no installation or special settings.
• Up to 1080P and a 30 m VGA cable - Supports resolutions up to 1080P. A VGA cable up to 30 m long can be attached, provided that the cable is of good quality.
