The cable is 1.8 m long and blue, the colour of USB 3.0. It transfers data at up to 5Gbps, so backing up and copying large files from an external drive is far faster than with a USB 2.0 cable. It works with both PC and Mac. Foil and braid shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference, and the twisted pairs reduce crosstalk for error-free data transfer.
