USB Extender Gold Touch USB 3.0 Extension Cable 5m with IC CH-USB3-5EX-IC

Gold Touch USB 3.0 Extension Cable 5m with IC

The Gold Touch CH-USB3-5EX-IC is a 5 m active USB 3.0 extension cable with a USB-A male plug on one end and a USB-A female socket on the other. It lets you place a camera, printer, external drive or USB hub further away from the computer.

Active chips built into the cable boost the signal, so it keeps 5Gbps speed over the full length. It works plug and play with no drivers and no power supply, and it has a DC socket for extra power in case the connected device needs more.

Key features

• 5 m at USB 3.0 speed - 5Gbps transfer over the full cable length thanks to three built-in active chips.
• Male to female - The USB-A male plug goes into the computer and the device cable plugs into the female socket, just like a regular extension.
• Plug and play - No drivers and no external power supply are needed in normal use.
• DC socket for extra power - When the connected device draws more power, you can add a supply through the DC socket on the cable.
