Cable Zalman ZM1000-EBT 8 Pin VGA Cable

This is one of the six PCI Express cables of the Zalman ZM1000-EBT power supply. It is used and has been tested in our lab.

The cable plugs into a modular socket of the PSU and powers a graphics card through a 6+2-pin connector that can be used as a 6-pin or an 8-pin plug. According to Zalman's cable drawing it is 550 mm long.

It suits anyone missing a PCIe cable for a ZM1000-EBT or adding a graphics card. Zalman states that the six PCI-E connectors of this PSU support up to three graphics cards in AMD CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI.

Key features

• 6+2-pin connector - The connector splits into 6+2 and fits 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power sockets on the graphics card.
• 550 mm length - The length shown in Zalman's official ZM850/1000-EBT cable drawing.
• Multi-GPU - The ZM1000-EBT has six such PCI-E cables, which according to Zalman support up to three graphics cards.

• Part of the ZM1000-EBT cable set - A Zalman 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply with 87-92% efficiency at 20-100% load, a single +12V rail and modular cable management.
• For the original PSU only - Modular socket pinouts differ between manufacturers and models, so the cable goes only into the matching socket of a ZM1000-EBT.
