Cable LIAN-LI x16 Riser PW-PCI-520X Color:black

Lian-Li PCIe 5.0 x16 Riser Cable in Black

The Lian-Li PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable lets you position the graphics card flexibly inside the case, typically for a showpiece vertical mount. It carries the full bandwidth of the fifth generation and keeps a clean look alongside good airflow.

Purpose

The cable's role is to extend the PCIe connection from the expansion slot on the motherboard out to the graphics card, so the card can be installed in a different orientation than usual. The PCIe 5.0 standard delivers extremely high data-transfer rates, double those of the previous PCIe 4.0 generation, so there is no performance compromise when the extension is used.

Capabilities

The cable features a connector angled from 180 degrees to 90 degrees, with an overall length of 200 mm. That combination allows the card to be routed neatly within the case while keeping airflow clear and the layout tidy. It is also backward compatible with the PCIe 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 standards, which widens the range of systems it can serve.

Connectivity & compatibility

The cable is designed to blend into a wide range of enclosures and suits, among others, Lian-Li's O11 series and LANCOOL series. It is worth noting that the GPU bracket is not included with this item, so it makes sense to plan in advance how you intend to anchor the card during a vertical installation.
