| Revew | Cable Gold Touch SATA to Molex 4Pin Power CableThe Gold Touch E-SATA-MOLEX is a power adapter cable with a 15-pin SATA male connector on one end and a 4-pin Molex (IDE) female connector on the other. It turns a SATA power lead from the power supply into a Molex connection. It is useful because newer power supplies mostly have SATA leads, while an older device with a Molex input still needs power: an IDE drive, an old optical drive, a fan or a lighting controller. Connection is simple: the SATA end goes to the power supply lead and the Molex end to the device, with no tools or settings. The cable is built from black, white, red and yellow wires.
