| Revew | Dell U3425WE UltraSharp 34" Curved WQHD Monitor with ThunderboltThe Dell U3425WE UltraSharp is a 34.1-inch curved monitor in a wide 21:9 ratio, built around an IPS panel at WQHD resolution. It is aimed at the office and the professional workstation where a wide working surface is needed, and it combines a Thunderbolt 4 connection with a USB hub and a KVM function for working across several sources. Picture & displayThe curved shape and wide 21:9 ratio provide an expansive field of view, and a 3440x1440 resolution spread across 34 inches gives a large working area and a sharp image. The IPS panel presents consistent colors and wide 178-degree viewing angles, and a brightness of 300 nits with a 1:2000 contrast ratio keeps the display clear through a workday. PerformanceA 120Hz refresh rate adds a sense of smoothness in scrolling and window movement, beyond what standard office monitors typically offer. The combination of a quality IPS panel and a wide WQHD resolution provides a stable base for multitasking and precise visual work over long sessions. Connectivity & ergonomicsThe port array includes a Thunderbolt 4 connection that carries video and data together, with an alternate mode for DisplayPort 1.4 and power delivery of up to 90 watts to feed a laptop over a single cable. It also offers an HDMI 2.1 connection, a DisplayPort output and three 10Gbps USB Type-A ports, alongside a KVM function, a 100x100 VESA mount, screen pivot support and built-in speakers.
