The MinisForum MS-02 is a mini-format workstation built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor, paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD in the M.2 2280 form factor. It targets professional creators, AI developers and engineers who need serious compute in a compact chassis together with a fast, flexible storage array.

Capacity & interface

At the heart of the storage layout sit four M.2 2280 slots running PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe, with the base configuration shipping a 1TB drive. Having several slots lets you cleanly separate the operating system, projects, media and cache files, giving each kind of data its own fast access channel.

Beyond the M.2 drives, the system supports an expandable storage array with RAID 0 / 1 / 5 / 10, so high speed can be combined with a layer of data protection. Automatic ECC error correction in memory adds stability and data integrity for mission-critical tasks.

Speed

The core is the Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX with 24 cores (8P + 16E) and a 13 TOPS NPU, a mix that delivers both speed and efficiency for AI and media workloads. For very fast transfers the system combines Dual 25GbE networking with USB4 v2 at up to 80Gbps, enabling instant syncing and smooth multitasking during edits.
