Creative Sound Blaster G3 External USB-C Sound Card

The Creative Sound Blaster G3 is a portable USB-C DAC and headphone amplifier, and the first Sound Blaster designed specifically for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles. It works without drivers or special software on PS4, PS5, Switch, Windows PCs and Macs, and a USB-C to USB-A converter is included for devices with a standard port.

GameVoice Mix uses a dial to balance game audio and team voice chat without leaving the game. The sides of the device carry volume and mic controls, a mute switch and a Footsteps Enhancer button, and with PS4 and Switch you can also adjust settings from your phone.

Key features

• Driverless USB-C - Plug the G3 into the USB-C port of the console or computer and it works right away. A converter is included for devices with a USB-A port.
• GameVoice Mix - A single dial sets the balance between game audio and voice chat. On PS4 and PS5 the feature works when the G3 is connected via USB and via the included optical cable.
• One-hand controls - Mic volume dial, mute switch, mode button and volume dial sit on the sides of the device, so you can adjust sound without letting go of the controller.
• Footsteps Enhancer - A custom-tuned EQ that brings out footsteps and helps you locate opponents before they appear on screen.
• Phone control - With PS4 and Nintendo Switch, the Creative app for Android and iOS connects over Bluetooth Low Energy to change bass, treble, volume and mic and to enable mic monitoring, with no audio streaming.
• Lightweight headphone amp - A high-quality audio chip drives headphones from 16 to 300 ohms, and the unit weighs only 32 g.
