The Fractal Design Epoch XL is a spacious full-tower enclosure that brings together refined styling and strong airflow. Designed to host next-generation hardware in an open, ventilated layout, it arrives with a Light Tint tempered glass panel that keeps the interior on clear display.

Build & form factor

Measuring W=215, H=469, D=447 mm, this is a large chassis aimed at no-compromise builds. The roomy interior leaves plenty of space for components and air routing, while subtle touches such as a laser-etched aluminium emblem round out a clean, modern look that fits naturally into a gaming setup.

Built-in support for reverse-connector motherboards lets you route cables behind the board for an exceptionally tidy build. With the wiring hidden from view, the main chamber stays open and airflow moves freely through it.

Cooling & expansion

The case ships with three Momentum 14 fans pre-installed, fitted with LCP blades and genuine FDB bearings for improved cooling at low noise. Ventilated top and front panels feed strong, natural airflow and help keep components running cool.

Cooling options are flexible: support for radiators up to 360 mm at both the front and the top, alongside clearance for a CPU air cooler up to 176 mm tall. There is room for graphics cards up to 425 mm with front fans, or 395 mm when a front radiator is fitted.

Assembly & cable management

A clean internal layout and easy access to components make assembly straightforward. Reverse-connector support lets you tuck the cables behind the motherboard tray and achieve an orderly appearance inside the glass chamber.

The top I/O panel carries a 20 Gbps USB Type-C port, two USB-A ports and a combined headphone and microphone jack, keeping every connection within reach from the working side.
