Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM chromax.black 140mm Fan

The Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 chromax.black is a 140mm fan in a square frame, delivering some of the leading quiet cooling in its class for PC cases and radiators, in a fully black design. The model, successor to the iconic NF-A14, quickly became a new milestone among quiet, high-quality 140x25 mm fans.

Cooling

At the base of the model sits advanced aerodynamic engineering: a Progressive Bend blade design, a central hub with a Centrifugal Turbulator, winglets, and an especially tight tip clearance of just 0.7 mm between the blades and the frame. Together these provide a marked improvement in the performance-to-noise ratio, meaning more air is moved relative to the noise produced.

Fan & acoustics

The NF-A14x25 G2 is focused on hushed cooling alongside high performance, in keeping with Noctua's tradition of quiet fans. PWM control lets the system match the spin speed to the load, so noise stays low in ordinary use and cooling ramps up under stress. The chromax.black edition gives the fan a uniform black look that fits well into dark builds.

Compatibility & install

The standard square frame suits common 140mm fan positions in PC cases, as well as use on the radiators of liquid-cooling systems. PWM control works with supporting motherboards and controllers for speed management as needed, and the installation follows the accepted standard for 140x25 mm fans.
