Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM Case Fan

The Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM is a ruggedised, high-speed version of the well-known NF-A14 140 mm fan, built for applications that need strong cooling and high durability. Its top speed rises to 2000 RPM, and it delivers 182.5 m³/h of airflow and 4.18 mmH2O of static pressure, so it suits radiators, heatsinks and demanding cases.

The frame and impeller are made of fibre-glass reinforced polyamide, a three-phase motor gives smooth and efficient running, and a special coating on the motor and circuit board provides IP52 protection. The SSO2 bearing is rated for an MTTF of more than 150,000 hours. This is a high-speed fan aimed at performance, not at low-noise PC builds.

Key features

• 2000 RPM with PWM control - A top speed of 2000 RPM instead of the 1500 RPM of the standard NF-A14. The 4-pin PWM connection lets the motherboard adjust the speed to the temperature.
• High airflow and pressure - 182.5 m³/h (107.42 CFM) and 4.18 mmH2O of static pressure for effective cooling on a radiator, on a heatsink or inside the case.
• IP52 protection - A special varnish coating on the motor and circuit board makes the fan highly dust resistant and lets it withstand dripping water equivalent to 3 mm of rainfall per minute.
• Fibre-glass reinforced polyamide - Both the frame and the impeller are made entirely of fibre-glass reinforced polyamide, which withstands temperatures up to 140°C and is more break-proof than the material of Noctua's standard fans.
• Three-phase motor - A motor with 6 slots instead of the usual 4 gives smoother transitions, lower vibration and high energy efficiency, with a maximum input power of only 2.16 W.
• SSO2 bearing for continuous operation - Noctua's SSO2 bearing is rated for an MTTF of more than 150,000 hours, and the fan operates at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C.
