Case Fan Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.black.swap 120mm Color:black

Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.black.swap Case Fan

The Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.black.swap is an airflow-optimised 120 mm fan designed for near-silent case ventilation and other low-impedance applications. At 1200 RPM it moves 107.5 m³/h of air at a maximum noise level of only 17.8 dB(A), and the Anti-Stall Knobs on the blades help it keep performing when the air path is more restricted.

The chromax.black.swap edition combines an all-black design with anti-vibration pads in six colours, black, white, red, blue, green and yellow, so you can match the fan to your build. It uses Noctua's SSO2 bearing, rated for an MTTF of more than 150,000 hours, and automatic PWM control that can even stop the fan completely.

Key features

• Airflow-optimised S12 design - 107.5 m³/h (63.27 CFM) at a maximum of 17.8 dB(A), ideal for quiet intake and exhaust in the case.
• Anti-Stall Knobs - Knobs on the blades reduce flow separation at medium to high impedance and increase the stall margin, so the fan also performs better on heatsinks and radiators.
• AAO frame - The Advanced Acoustic Optimisation frame with integrated anti-vibration pads improves the balance between performance and noise.
• Swappable pads in 6 colours - 4 NA-AVP1 anti-vibration pads in each of black, white, red, blue, green and yellow are included, so you can colour-match the fan to your build.
• SSO2 bearing and PWM control - The second generation of Noctua's SSO bearing is rated for an MTTF of more than 150,000 hours. The custom NE-FD1 PWM IC with Smooth Commutation Drive reduces switching noise at low speeds, the minimum speed is 300 RPM at 20% PWM, and the fan stops completely at 0% PWM.
