Noctua NF-S12B redux-700 120mm Case Fan

The Noctua NF-S12B redux-700 is the redux edition of the NF-S12B, Noctua's classic 120mm fan designed specifically for case ventilation. Thanks to its quietness, performance and build quality it has become an established reference for quiet 120mm fans. The redux line reissues proven Noctua models in streamlined, more accessibly priced packages.

The 700 RPM version is the low-speed, ultra-quiet variant for silent enthusiasts: up to 56.9 m³/h (33.49 CFM) of airflow at a maximum of just 6.8 dB(A). The fan uses a 3-pin connector, runs on an SSO bearing with Smooth Commutation Drive 2, and is rated for an MTTF of more than 150,000 hours.

Key features

• Designed for case ventilation - Typical case ventilation needs high airflow at only medium static pressure. The NF-S12B was designed for high airflow efficiency and low noise in exactly these conditions.
• Bevelled Blade Tips - Bevelled blade tips reduce rotor-stator interaction, allowing extended leading edges and a larger blade surface with quieter operation.
• Smooth Commutation Drive 2 - Noctua's drive system eliminates torque variations and switching noises, so the fan stays remarkably quiet even at close distances.
• SSO bearing - A hydrodynamic bearing with an additional magnet that stabilises the rotor axis, for very quiet operation and long-term stability.
• Customisable - You can add optional Noctua accessories such as Low-Noise Adaptors, y-cables, 3:4-pin adaptors and extension cables, as well as NA-SAVP1 anti-vibration pads in six colours that damp vibrations and change the look of the frame.
• Reliability and protection - MTTF of more than 150,000 hours, locked rotor protection and reverse polarity protection.
