| Revew | CPU Cooler Noctua NH-L9x65 chromax.blackThe Noctua NH-L9x65 chromax.black is a low-profile CPU air cooler that is black from head to toe: black coated heatsink, black fan with black anti-vibration pads, black fan clips and black mounting parts. At only 65mm tall, the same height as low-profile expansion cards, it is designed for HTPCs and Small Form Factor cases with no room for a tower cooler. Despite its low height, the heatsink uses 4 copper heatpipes of 6mm and 50 soldered aluminium fins, topped by a 14mm thin NF-A9x14 fan with PWM support. The result is remarkably quiet cooling for moderate heat loads in a compact PC. Its 95x95mm footprint stays within the socket zone, so the cooler does not block the RAM slots, the PCIe slot or near-socket connectors on Mini-ITX boards. The package includes the black SecuFirm2 mounting system, AM5 offset mounting bars, NT-H1 thermal compound and a Low-Noise Adaptor.

- NF-A9x14 fan and Low-Noise Adaptor - The premium NF-A9x14 fan with Noctua's AAO frame and advanced aerodynamic design supports PWM for automatic speed control up to 2500 RPM. The L.N.A. reduces the maximum speed to 1800 RPM for near-silent builds with CPUs that produce little heat.
- SecuFirm2 and AM5 offset mounting - SecuFirm2 supports Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x and AMD AM5 and AM4. The included AM5 offset bars shift the cooler 7mm towards the south of the socket, right above the CCDs, typically lowering temperatures by 1-3°C.
- NT-H1 thermal compound - Noctua's NT-H1, chosen again and again by overclockers, is a pro-grade thermal compound with minimum thermal resistance, easy application and long-term reliability.
