| Revew | Zalman CNPS13X DS BLACK CPU CoolerThe Zalman CNPS13X DS BLACK is a tower-type air cooler for Intel and AMD processors. It is built from pure copper, pure aluminum and ABS, with five black-coated heatpipes and one 120mm PWM fan with ARGB lighting. The DS model adds a digital display on top of the cooler that shows the CPU temperature in real time. The display needs the CNPS13X DS Temperature SW software, which is downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
Key features- Real-time temperature display - The digital display on top of the cooler shows the CPU temperature read from the BIOS. The CNPS13X DS Temperature SW software must be installed for it to work.
- Five heatpipes with RDTH - Black-coated copper heatpipes and RDTH (Reverse Direct Touch heatpipes) technology enlarge the heat dissipation area to 6,717 cm2 and reduce thermal resistance.
- AF120 annular fan - A 120mm PWM fan with shark fin blades and an outer ring that suppresses vortices and vibration. It runs at 600 to 2,000 RPM with noise of up to 29.7dBA.
- ARGB lighting - The fan is lit in ARGB colors and gives the system a striking look inside the case.
- Support for modern sockets - Fits Intel LGA1851/1700/1200/115X and AMD AM5/AM4 sockets. Check the case's CPU height limit (159mm), and note that OC memory thicker than 8.7mm may interfere with installation.
- Thermal paste and vibration dampers - The cooler ships with ZM-STC8 thermal compound and rubber vibration dampers that reduce noise during operation.
