Zalman ALPHA2 DS 6-Port ARGB Controller

The Zalman ALPHA2 DS 6-Port ARGB Controller is the control box (ZM-OZ Hub) of the Zalman ALPHA2 DS A24 and DS A36 liquid coolers, in black and white. It brings fan speed and ARGB lighting control into one device instead of connecting every fan to a separate motherboard header.

The controller has 6 channels, each with a 4-pin PWM connector and a 3-pin ARGB connector. It takes power from a SATA connector on the power supply and connects to an internal USB 2.0 header on the motherboard, so every channel can be controlled individually in ZALMAN OZ software. A Mainboard Sync cable can hand control over to the motherboard software, and an extra USB port communicates with the LCD screen on the ALPHA2 DS pump.

• 6 PWM and ARGB channels - Each channel has a 4-pin PWM connector for speed and a 3-pin ARGB connector for lighting. Connect both to control the channel from the software, which detects connected channels by the PWM connector.
• ZALMAN OZ software - The USB link to the motherboard lets you set fan speed and lighting effects for each channel separately, with speed curves and preset lighting modes.
• Motherboard sync - The Mainboard Sync cable connects to the PWM and ARGB headers on the motherboard. Pressing Mainboard Sync in the software transfers speed and lighting control to the motherboard software.
• Pump screen connection - A dedicated USB 2.0 port on the controller handles communication with the LCD screen of the ALPHA2 DS pump.
• Power from the PSU - A 15-pin SATA power connector feeds the controller directly from the power supply, without loading the motherboard headers.
