Thermal Paste Thermal Grizzly Polar Therm X-8 5g

Polartherm X-8 is a thermal paste developed in Germany by Thermal Grizzly for mainstream PC users, with an outstanding price-performance ratio. It is a low-viscosity paste that is very easy to apply: it spreads across the CPU heat spreader through the contact pressure of the cooler alone, although a spatula and an applicator are included.

The thermal conductivity of X-8 is good and suits gaming and home PCs with processors up to 70 W TDP: Intel Core i3/i5, Intel Core Ultra 3/5 and AMD Ryzen 3/5. It also works on graphics cards, notebooks and other ICs.

Despite its low viscosity, X-8 is only slightly affected by the pump-out effect, where paste is gradually squeezed out as the heat spreader and the cooler base expand and contract, so it keeps performing over time.

Key features

• Very easy application - Thanks to the low viscosity the paste spreads over the heat spreader by cooler pressure alone. A spatula and an applicator are included for convenience.
• Good thermal conductivity - Fills the microscopic gaps between the CPU heat spreader and the cooler base for efficient heat transfer. Recommended for CPUs up to 70 W.
• High durability - Only slightly affected by the pump-out effect, so it is not quickly squeezed out by heating and cooling cycles.
• Electrically non-conductive - Electrical conductivity of 0 pS/m, so accidental contact with parts around the CPU is not dangerous.
• Wide temperature range - Works from -50 to +150 C on CPUs, GPUs, notebooks and ICs.
