The St-Lab I-472 is a PCI Express x1 expansion card that adds six RS-232 serial ports with DB9 male connectors to a computer. It is meant for equipment that still uses serial communication, such as cash registers, receipt printers, scales, industrial controllers, modems and lab instruments.

Two ports sit on the card bracket itself and four more come on two separate brackets that connect to the card and mount in free slots of the case. The card is based on MosChip MCS9900 and MCS9922 controllers and is supported on Windows.
