    Asus PRIME B650M-K Motherboard

    The Asus PRIME B650M-K is a Micro ATX motherboard for the AM5 socket, built for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 Series processors of up to 170W. It is based on the AMD B650 chipset and supports DDR5 memory in two slots, up to 96GB and up to 8000 MT/s (OC), with AMD EXPO profiles.

    The board offers two M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0 x4, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for the graphics card, Realtek 2.5Gb LAN and HDMI and VGA outputs. VRM, M.2 and chipset heatsinks, a BIOS FlashBack button and an I/O shield in the box round out the package.

    Key features

    • PCIe 5.0 M.2 - With Ryzen 7000 and 9000 processors the M.2_1 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 and M.2_2 at PCIe 4.0 x4, both for drives up to 2280. There are also four SATA 6Gb/s ports and AMD RAIDXpert2 with RAID 0, 1 and 10.
    • DDR5 memory - Two dual-channel DDR5 slots, up to 96GB and up to 8000 MT/s (OC), with ECC and non-ECC memory support, AMD EXPO profiles and ASUS OptiMem II.
    • Expansion slots - A PCIe 4.0 x16 slot running at x16 with Ryzen 7000 and 9000 (x8 or x4 with Ryzen 8000), plus two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots.
    • 2.5Gb LAN and display - Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet with LANGuard, plus HDMI 2.1 (up to 4K@60Hz) and VGA outputs for the CPU integrated graphics.
    • Cooling and protection - VRM, M.2 and chipset heatsinks, hybrid fan headers and Fan Xpert 2+. ASUS 5X PROTECTION III includes DIGI+ VRM, overvoltage protection, SafeSlot Core+ and a stainless-steel back I/O.
    • BIOS FlashBack and connectivity - A BIOS FlashBack button and LED to update the BIOS from a file on a USB drive, eight rear USB ports including two USB 3.2 Gen 2, a front USB-C header, two Addressable Gen 2 headers and an Aura RGB header.
