    Asus TUF GAMING B650M-PLUS Motherboard

    The Asus TUF GAMING B650M-PLUS is a Micro-ATX motherboard for the AM5 socket, built for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It is based on the AMD B650 chipset and supports DDR5 memory in four slots, up to 256GB and up to 7600+ MT/s (OC) with AMD EXPO profiles.

    According to the manufacturer, the board is built with military-grade components, 12+2+2 power stages rated for up to 60A each and an enlarged VRM heatsink. It offers two M.2 slots with heatsinks (one PCIe 5.0 x4), Realtek 2.5Gb LAN with TUF LANGuard and a 20Gb/s USB-C port. This model has no Wi-Fi module.

    Key features

    • Stable power for any AM5 CPU - 12+2+2 power stages, each rated for up to 60A, combine MOSFETs and drivers in a single package. Military-grade TUF chokes and an enlarged heatsink over the VRM and chokes keep the system stable under long loads.
    • DDR5 up to 256GB - Four dual-channel DDR5 slots take up to 256GB at up to 7600+ MT/s (OC), with AMD EXPO profiles, OptiMem II and support for ECC and non-ECC modules.
    • PCIe 5.0 storage - Two M.2 slots with heatsinks: one PCIe 5.0 x4 (with Ryzen 7000 and 9000) and one PCIe 4.0 x4, plus four SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1 and 10. M.2 Q-Latch installs a drive without screws.
    • Networking and audio - Realtek 2.5Gb LAN with TUF LANGuard protection against lightning strikes and static electricity, a Realtek 7.1 codec with audio shielding and dedicated audio PCB layers, and Two-Way AI Noise Cancellation for clear voice chat.
    • TUF protection - DRAM overcurrent protection, ESD guards, overvoltage protection, a reinforced SafeSlot Core+ PCIe slot and a pre-mounted stainless-steel rear I/O shield.
    • Connectivity - A 20Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, DisplayPort, HDMI and a BIOS FlashBack button on the rear, plus a front USB-C header, a Thunderbolt (USB4) header and three ARGB Gen 2 headers.
