It pairs a wide digital power array with dual-channel DDR5 support and a generous set of next-generation high-speed connections. Platform & chipsetAt its core sits the AM5 socket, which supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors, making the board suitable for a fresh build as well as a later upgrade. The X870 chipset is complemented by X3D Turbo Mode, aimed at extracting higher gaming performance from current-generation chips. The BIOS is designed to be approachable, offering multiple themes, AIO fan control and automatic Q-Flash scanning.
Memory & expansionThe board carries four DIMM slots for dual-channel DDR5 memory, with support for AMD EXPO modules and overclocked tuning up to 8200MT/s. Storage is handled by four M.2 slots, one of them running PCIe 5.0 x4, alongside the M.2 EZ-Flex mechanism that provides efficient heat dissipation and a flexible baseplate under a patented design. The primary graphics slot is a reinforced PCIe 5.0 x16 UD Slot built to carry heavy cards. Power, cooling & connectivityThe digital VRM is arranged in a 16+2+2 phase layout and backed by VRM Thermal Armor Advanced and M.2 Thermal Guard to keep temperatures in check under sustained load. On networking, the board offers wired 5GbE and Wi-Fi 7 with a directional high-gain antenna, plus the WIFI EZ-Plug mechanism for easy installation. The rear panel provides HDMI and dual USB4 Type-C ports with DP-Alt support, together with USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 connections.
